As a freelance project, I was given creative jurisdiction on the redesign of the app previews for their app store launch. The client wanted the previews to fit the updated branding as well as showcasing some of the new features they had developed since their launch.
Consistent Branding
Daedalus had a recent rebranding and there was an insistent need to align the design to the new branding. Color, typography, vibe, feeling was top of mind.
Showcasing Features
The main question: How do I showcase these new features in an engaging, yet incredibly minimal way? The answer: Let's focus upon certain parts and emphasize them visually.
Scalability
Important to keep aspect ratios in mind!
App previews on different platforms and even within those platforms have multiple aspect ratios to keep in mind. Here I have my work within all the aspect ratios requested by the client. Adjusting the design to proprely fit and display onto these ratios is an imporatant part.
